White Christmas is peaceful
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas holiday!
I know my family really enjoyed the peaceful White Christmas yesterday morning. Snow is always deceptively peaceful until you have to get out in it.
I uploaded several stories this morning that will be in tomorrow’s paper, as well as three that won’t be published (on paper!) until the Jan. 3 issue of Frenship Today. Those include my story on students at TVMS building catapults, some children in north Frenship winning a piano, and a story by Adam Young about franchise fees that Wolfforth collected recently.
One story you will see in tomorrow’s print edition is a story about a grassfire in Wolfforth during last week’s windstorm. Mayor/Wolfforth Fire Chief Charles Addington told me that the volunteer firefighters came in during the storm just in case such an event happened. I may not live in Wolfforth, but I’m grateful for such volunteers, because that could have been a real mess if not for them.
