Tuscany Place Luxury Apartments seeking residents in new units
Construction on the Tuscany Place Luxury Apartments is incomplete, but leasing professionals are signing up potential residents already from a mobile home on the corner of 73rd Street and Milwaukee Avenue.
Ashley Mapp, the property manager, said the property will soon boast 274 one- and two-bedroom units at 6312 73rd St. The first apartments will be ready on July 14 for prospective residents.
The other apartments will be finished two to three weeks later, she said.
“We’re getting a good response,” Mapp said, noting people seem excited about the luxury apartments in the southwest corner of Lubbock. The gated complex will include a resort-style pool, a dog park, a volleyball court and Wi-Fi in the clubhouse, pool and business center.
Some of the units will include garages and fireplaces, but all will include washer and dryer connections, stainless steel appliances and other luxuries.
Mapp says the company managing the apartments, Case and Associates, has more than 90 communities in the United States, but this is their first in Lubbock.
In West Texas, there are also Case and Associates properties in Amarillo and El Paso.
“Lubbock’s a great market, and we’re always growing,” Mapp said.
The complex manager is hoping to have professionals and graduate students among its residents.
She said it will be a quiet, homey atmosphere, “not a party community.”
Teachers and staff from the Frenship and Lubbock school districts, as well as hospital workers and Texas Tech employees will be offered special rates at the complex, Mapp said.
Rents will range from $754 to $1,079.
