Luxury apartments nourish community

Avalon Clubhouse picWEBCatalina West Apartment Homes wants to say a sincere “thank you” to everyone who helped launch their new park by attending the park’s ribbon cutting in March. Between Jake Worthington singing on stage and the free catered Evie Mae’s Pit Barbecue, residents and visitors alike enjoyed the day and each other’s company. But it’s not just about music and food, says Cathy with Catalina West Apartments; it’s about growing a community where you know your neighbor.

“We host events so people can meet their neighbors, make friends and create a community, rather than just another apartment complex. Your neighbors should be your family and friends,” Cathy says. Monthly events help promote togetherness within the community. In the short five months Catalina West has been open, the luxury apartment complex has hosted events every month to bring together residents. One such event was a wine tasting and dinner – perfect for February. At the wine tasting, Llano Estacado Winery served samples of their different wines. A free dinner followed to complete the evening and many Catalina West residents intermingled in the process. An Apple TV was also raffled off to get residents even more excited about the event.

This summer, residents can expect a summer celebration complete with barbecue and fun activities. “We value our sense of community and togetherness. Catalina West isn’t just a place to live, it’s a place you love to live and call your home,” says Cathy. Another fun event the community gets involved in is monthly yoga sessions with Megan Zuber. Megan hosts a beginner and intermediate class to bring residents closer.

Catalina West Apartment Homes invites everyone to tour the park and clubhouse to see the fire tables and lounge areas outside the clubhouse, the covered gas grilling stations available for use anytime and the resort-style heated pool with sun decks and tanning ledges. The clubhouse is available to socialize too, with an activity room for watching the game or hosting parties. The clubhouse also has a gym accessible 24 hours a day for whenever you feel the urge to exercise. Soon, Catalina West will have Peleton stationary bikes complete with their own screens for residents to connect to an instructor to take a class or travel down a choice of scenic areas – all included with no membership fee.

The brand new apartments are designed with an open, welcoming feel to make your apartment feel less like a rental and more like home. Inside you will find a large, open kitchen with an island that looks into the living room along with wide doors to help open up the design. New stainless steel appliances give you a modern, upscale feel for your new home and granite counter tops compliment the rustic feel in the kitchen and bathrooms. Plans come in 1 bedroom, 1 bath or 2 bedroom, 2 bath — and both have luscious open space and the latest luxury designs.
