Frenship Middle School track team sets school records

The Frenship Middle School track team ended its season last week after the Frenship track meet was canceled.

The seventh-and eighth-grade boys teams were able to set three school records during the course of the year.

Seventh-grader Jaden Kennedy set the high jump record at 5-feet 4-inches and Cade Davis set the long jump record at 17-9. The two helped the seventh-grade team win every meet it entered this year.

The eighth-grade relay team set a new school record in the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 3 minutes 41.91 seconds. The previous school record was set in 1990 with a time of 3:43.66.

The relay team consists of Zach Britton, Colin Moore, Chad Quisenberry, and Carl Trinidad.

The eighth-grade team only lost one meet this season.
