Frenship’s passing game, defense key area round rout of Canutillo

Canutillo did as good a job as any team has this year of slowing down the Frenship running game. The difference in 2008 is the Tigers are not a one-dimensional team.

Given free range and plenty of time by his offensive line, Frenship quarterback Tyler Lloyd threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns, both to Lance Ratliff, who also recovered a fumble in the end zone and kicked a couple of field goals, as the No. 6 Tigers routed Canutillo 48-7 in a Class 4A Division I area playoff Saturday at Eagle Stadium.
