Announcements from the Wolfforth Library

03-05 Frenship Library

Announcements from the Wolfforth Library:

Every Wednesday at 12:30pm we have our Tiny Tots Read a lot – sponsored by Literacy Lubbock.  It is targeted for children ages birth – 4 years old (with a parent).  Each family in attendance will take home a FREE copy of the book.  This introduces children to the joy of reading and helps to start a child’s own personal library.

Our public story hour is the 1st Wednesday of each month at 10 am and is open to all children.  General age is 2 – 6 years old. There are 2 stories read, a craft or activity that goes along with the story, and a small snack.  This is a fun time for all children in attendance!
03-05 Frenship Library 2And last but not least, our Friends of the Library semi-annual book sale!!! April 7-10 Friends of the Library will host our spring book sale.  This is also a great time to become a friend of the library.  Funds raised from memberships goes back to the library to purchase shelving, furniture, and support our children’s programs such as summer reading.  Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization supporting the programs and services provided by the library to our community.  This year we have many popular new/like new books by popular authors! It is a sale you won’t want to miss.  Hours are Tuesday 3pm-7pm. Wednesday and Thursday 10am-7pm, and Friday 10am-1pm.  Volunteers are also welcome and needed.  Please contact the Library and we will put you in contact with the Friends of the Library representative.
