Road to connect subdivision to Donald Preston Drive

The area directly south of Preston Park in Wolfforth will hold a new 154-lot development, according to a press release sent by the city Tuesday morning.

The subdivision was announced Tuesday by Joe Stettheimer of Stettheimer Family Partnership, and Steven Dorsey of Dorsey and Associates and will be called Preston Hollow.

Access to the subdivision will be on a road not yet constructed west of Outer Wear USA. The city of Wolfforth approved the dedication of the new road, Arthur Street, in a City Council meeting in early February.

Arthur Street already exists in the Preston Park area, but the new 600 feet of roadway will connect Preston Hollow with Donald Preston Drive, City Manager Darrell Newsom said.

Residents will also be able to access the subdivision from the north on County Road 7700 or 66th Street.

The release said the lots will be 70-foot front lots and have homes in the $225,000 to $300,000 range. The project will be built in two phases. Lots in the development should be built out in the next three years.
