The Tigers are set to play Palo Duro in their Class 4A area playoff game at 1 p.m.

Palo Duro reached the scoreboard first with a 13-play opening drive that ended with a 10-yard rush from quarterback Jaren Grayson.

At the end of the first quarter, the Tigers trail 7-0. Frenship has the ball at the Palo Duro 25 yard line.

Frenship scored its first touchdown with a 2-yard run from Bobby Huey. The Tigers converted a 4-and-8 from the Palo Duro 31-yard line with a screen pass to Huey that went for 17 yards. Huey rushed for the touchdown three plays later.

Palo Duro’s leading rusher Ty Hicks has been carried off the field with a knee injury.

Frenship scored with a 25-yard pass from Brandon Hanslik to Zach Kittley on a 4-and-2 play from the Palo Duro 25-yard line.

Frenship is able to stop the Palo Duro offense to end the first half with a 14-7 lead.

Frenship wasted no time scoring in the third quarter. After receiving the kick-off, Bobby Huey rushed for a 19 and 25-yard gain. Xavier Vasquez reached the endzone with a 26-yard rush.

Palo Duro’s runningback fumbled on the second play of its next drive and Frenship’s Jace Hall recovered the ball on the Don’s 43-yard line.
