• Looking Back: Frenship lost its second District 4-4A game to Estacado, 6-5, Tuesday at Tiger Field.

• Estacado scored early when Aubie Davila reached first base on a single back to the pitcher. Marcus Flores was hit by an Aaron Wampler pitch in the next at bat. Davila and Flores executed a double steal to move to second and third. Kyle Porras hit a two-RBI single before getting thrown out stealing second base.

• Estacado scored two more runs in the second inning.

• Frenship answered back in the bottom half of the inning when Brian Matthews reached on a lead off single to center field. John Swope was hit by a pitch in the next at bat and Taylor Read hit a bunt single to load the bases. Jordan Richburg followed with a sacrifice fly to right field to score Matthews. Chris Van Gilder then hit into a double play from home to first to end the inning.

• Clay Lyons made his way around the bases to score in the bottom of the third inning, making the score 4-3.

• Estacado earned a run in the top of the fourth, but Frenship answered with a run of its own in the fifth inning from Van Gilder.

• Frenship tied the game in the bottom of the sixth inning when Lyons hit a high chopper between first and second base. Jordan Castillo knocked the ball down deep at second, but Lyons beat the throw to first to score Read and Richburg.

• Wampler retired three consecutive batters in the top of the seventh inning.

• Estacado regained the lead in the top of the eighth inning and Frenship was unable to score during its half.
