An ice cream social is planned for visiting pastor Jason Thompson and his wife, Amy, 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday in Fellowship Hall at the First Baptist Church of Wolfforth.

Bring your own ice cream and cookies.

The church is currently searching for a pastor to replace Mark McMillan, who recently left the post.

Thompson will preach at the Sunday morning service. The congregation will vote in the 7 p.m. Sunday evening service.
