Family Harvest Church will host a vacation Bible school, a guest speaker and seminary student orientation in August and September.

The church, located at 7201 Brownfield Highway, will host guest speaker Dr. Robb Thompson at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Thompson, a pastor in Tinley Park, Ill., is the author of several books focusing on excellence and has a weekly television program.

A vacation Bible school will run at the church 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  The theme will be “character camp.”

The Harvest Ministry Seminary student orientation will be at 7 p.m. on Aug. 18. Classes begin Aug. 25.
