The Tiger tennis team continues to receive honors under first year head coach Ted Phillips. This week several players were named to the District 4-4A all district team. Tiger tennis qualifies for regional tournament

The Tiger tennis team has not let youth stand in its way this season.

Frenship begins the regional tournament today at Wichita Falls.

“We have 11 of our top 16 kids who are freshmen and sophomores,” said Frenship head coach Ted Phillips. “We have had a real strong sophomore class. Several of the kids made varsity last year and got their feet wet as freshmen and that has really helped out.”

Frenship tennis team hires coach from Snyder

Frenship hired Ted Phillips as its new head tennis coach on June 4.

Phillips is familiar with the Frenship tennis system because his former team of seven years, Snyder, is on the Tigers’ schedule twice a year.
