Rematch goes Tigers’ way with early offense
The Frenship junior varsity softball team won its first tournament of the season, taking top honors in Division Two at the Prairie Dog tournament in Lubbock last week.
“They had a lot of fun,” said Frenship JV head coach Toni Gafford. “We began the season with a loss, so winning this tournament was a boost for us.”
Frenship softball team hosts tailgate at football game
The Frenship softball team is partnering with Texas Roadhouse to serve ribs at the Nov. 7 football game against San Angelo Lake View.
“This is one of our main fundraisers,” said Frenship head coach Robby Dickenson. “We have others through the season, but this one helps the booster out a lot.”
Proceeds of the fundraiser will go toward purchasing equipment for the softball team.
