Tigers take to the gridiron, seek redemption from last year(0)

August 27, 2010

The Frenship Tigers football team will open the 2010 season Friday at Lowrey Field when it faces Coronado High School at 7:30 p.m.

After completing two-a-days and two scrimmages, the Tigers already are in a better position than they were last season when injuries and transfers plagued an experienced Tiger team. The result was a cast of new faces and a 7-5 record.

At this time last season, Frenship lost its two top running backs when they transferred schools within two weeks of the season opener. The Tigers also lost its top receiver with a season-ending knee injury.
