Three City Council seats up for election The city of Wolfforth will hold its general election in May for three City Council seats. Current council members Randy Gross, James Vardy and David Cooper’s seats will be up for re-election. Those interested in running for the council must sign up and complete all paperwork before Feb. 17. Application packets will be availableat the Wolfforth City Hall at 302 Main St. Council members serve two-year terms and must be a resident of Wolfforth at least six months prior to the application date. Visit http://www.frenship.us/Page/6251 to provide feedback. ^ Masonic Lodge to host fundraiser The Wolfforth-Frenship Masonic Lodge will host a chili super to help raise donations. The supper is slated for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Wolfforth chapter lodge located north of Frenship High School’s Tiger Pit at 902 DowdenRoad. Donations will be accepted in the amount of what each guest would like to give for the supper, with all proceeds going to the lodge forcharity purposes. A Pink Apron Degree farce will follow the meal.
The Wolfforth City Council at its regular meeting Monday approved a resolution to support a 2017 tax credit housing application.
