The Terra Vista Middle School cheerleaders for the 2008-09 school year attended the National Cheer Association camp July 31-Aug. 2 at Lubbock Christian University, and four of the them could be going to Hawaii.

At the camp, the squad learned cheers, dances and chants from the NCA cheerleaders. Ashlee Delacruz, Hannah Evitt, Alyssa Stevens and Brijette Welch were nominated All-American cheerleaders and have the opportunity to cheer in Hawaii.

Theresa Stevens, mother of Alyssa, said the TVMS cheerleaders named All-American will have to raise the funds needed to get to Hawaii.
